My name is Meredith Downs. I am 11 years old, and as you can probably tell, I am a vegan. My favorite food is Mac and Cheese, but like many other things, it is not vegan. So, that inspired me to make my own recipes. That, and me getting bored having almost the same thing every day for dinner. My favorite hobby is reading, and it definitely comes in handy when I’m reading cookbooks. Also, I love baking things like vegan, sugar-free cookies. One other thing I love doing is encouraging others to become vegan. I strongly believe that becoming vegan will help you overcome sicknesses, and you will definitely be in good shape because of it.

Why am I a “Naughty” Vegan?

When I say “naughty” vegan, I don’t mean disobedient. I mean that everything I eat isn’t necessarily vegan. For instance, I eat honey. I mean, why wouldn’t you eat honey? If you didn’t eat honey, there would be no reason for the bee to make it, therefore ruining everything they do. Everything. Also, it has riboflavin, which is a vitamin that helps you produce energy.

 

The ONLY other “naughty” thing I eat is..

There is only one other “naughty” thing I eat, which is…………….Salmon! The truth is, I hate Salmon, but since it is super healthy, I eat it every week. Why is Salmon so healthy? Salmon has many key nutrients, including iron, zinc, niacin, vitamin B-6 and vitamin B-12. All of those ingredients are a BIG part of your health. Without them, you would die. Eat more Salmon!
